Displays data from dams, river, and weather stations. Report data refreshes automatically without having to reload the page.

View

This report displays data from dams, rivers, and weather stations.  The dams are positioned at the top of the report, while the rivers are in the middle, and the weather stations are at the bottom.  The data refreshes on a timer, which is displayed in the upper left portion of the web page (TTR).  The timestamp will be displayed in the configured display timezone.

If the data is overdue for that station, the timestamp will be highlighted in the user customized color (by default, this is yellow).  Likewise, if the data is late, the timestamp will be highlighted in the corresponding user customized color by default, this is red). Stations with late or overdue data will additionally be marked with an alert icon (circle with an exclamation mark). Hovering over these icons will show the last timestamp as well as that data's age in days and hours
NOTE - The displayed timestamp is gathered from one of the data values at that station.  While the other data values are likely to have the same timestamp, they are each their own sensor and, in some cases, the timestamp can be different.  To be absolutely sure of the timestamp for any data value, hover over that value and a tooltip will occur with the corresponding timestamp.  This is also the case with the unit value for that timeseries.  It should be consistent with the unit in the header, but each timeseries can technically have its own unit.  If you want to make sure, hover over the link and it will also display the unit for that corresponding value.

The data values on the page change every time the TTR value goes to zero.  Users can interact with these data values by:

  • Hovering: This will display specific data about that exact value such as the path that was used to get the value and the exact timestamp for that value.
  • Clicking: This will display an interactive line graph where you can see the data over a customizable period of time. In this chart view you can also view the data for all underlying sensors. For more information on the interactive graph see Charts

NOTE - If you click the header link for any of the data values, it will open a line graph with all of the corresponding values under that header.  This gives users the ability to compare all of the values in that section in the same graph.

If you see a -- value, this means that there is no data for that sensor at that site.

Creating This Report

To Create/Modify a report, the user must be logged in as either an operator or a controller.

Navigate to the create or edit page. Then under the DamRiverWeather section select either 'new' or 'edit'.

To give the report a title, enter the title into the "Title" text field.

The main concept for customizing one of these reports is based on drag and drop.  On the left, you have the Drag--> and Site Type columns.  If you want to use Dams, Rivers, or Weather stations in your report, simply drag the corresponding handle from the Drag--> column into the Site Type column.  Once you do this, you will want to add sites and possibly headers into the report.  To do this, click on the Dam/River/Weather handle, which will open the list of sites in the <--Drag column.  Similarly, drag the site handles that you want in your report to the left.  You can add headers by clicking the + button.  You can also edit the title for the Dams, Rivers, and Weather sections by entering the title into the text field to the left of the <--Drag column.

You can customize the colors of the report by using the drop-downs.  Here is a description of each drop-down:
