Operational Status

view | edit

Status Overview is a quick reference for several important processes in the HydroDCS

View

The first report can be found by clicking on the "Status" link in the main menu.  Any user can view this page and see the operational status of the important processes on the HydroDCS.  The HydroDCS periodically checks itself and rolls those checks into this report.  Users can get more details by hovering the cursor over the corresponding visual.

  • A green check mark means that the process is functioning properly
  • A red x means that the process is not functioning properly.
  • A gray circle with an exclamation mark means that the process is not configured, so there is nothing to report.

Additionally users may user the 'Force Run' button to manually request an updated check against these statuses.

NOTE the processes to gather the current status information may take several minutes to complete. A forced run may only be submitted every 10 minutes to prevent redundant requests from hindering the system while it collects new status information.

Below are items that may appear in the status overview page. NOTE some may not appear, those have been disabled by editing this page

USGS Connection
