Must be logged in as controller to manage Data Sources

Using the profile drop-down, navigate to "Operator >Update Site Groups".


These groups ,in conjunction with OpenDCS site groups, are how the HydroDCS knows different site types. For example, the selected sites for dams will then show up in reports that display dam data, selected rivers will be display in river reports, etc.


Start be selecting either:

  • Existing Group
    • Clicking an existing group such as 'dams' will display two columns.
    • The left column is a list of sites that are available to add to the group.
    • The right column is a list of sites that are currently in the group.
    • to add or remove sites from the selected group drag sites between the two columns.
  • '+' (new group)
    • Clicking this option will open a dialogue box with two fields.
      • Name - the name of the group
      • Description - description of the group.
    • click 'create' to save new group
